Zen and the Art of Content Creation
Two things I've been exploring these past couple weeks:
1. Instagram Trial Reels
Did you know there’s a feature on Instagram where instead of pushing your Reel to your main feed, you can run a ‘trial’?
It’s useful to gauge interest on certain topics outside of what you normally talk about.
You can share any of the trial Reels to your main feed.
Highly recommend playing around with it.
I've been sharing low effort videos just to see how they perform.
2. Intuitive Content Creation
Something I haven't talked about online much is I'm big into meditation.
A few years ago I meditated twice a day, for 1,200+ days in a row.
I had taken a break the past couple of years...but I've been getting back into it.
After a few meditation sessions recently, I've recorded quick videos sharing thoughts that had come up.
The views on these videos have been incredibly low compared to others...but it's been a fun way to capture and share thoughts.
There's something special about using social media as a thought journal.

P.S. My latest podcast episode is an interview with Andy Murphy. Andy just rebranded his podcast, and hit #1 in the parenting category on Apple Podcasts. Check it out.
