Stop waiting for the “right” format

There’s something I wish more new creators could hear:
You’re not stuck.
You’re just stalling, by pretending the container matters more than the message.

I’ve done this.

I’ve bounced between newsletters, podcasts, video ideas...caught in loops about how to show up instead of why.

I’ve spent hours trying to map it out perfectly, when I could’ve just hit record.

What I’ve learned is this:
The format doesn’t matter nearly as much as your willingness to make something today.

Some weeks, it’s showing up on camera.

Other weeks, I just write.

Through it all, podcasting is my constant. That’s the part that always feels like me.

You don’t need to commit to one lane forever.

You just need to commit to creating today, in the way that feels most alive right now.

Let the format follow the energy.

Let consistency come from action, not rigid structure.

If you’ve been caught in the “how” and “where,” zoom out.

You don’t need a perfect plan.

You just need to start.

Keep creating,
Dylan

PS. If this hits home, I unpack more of this idea on today’s podcast. Especially how I’ve stayed consistent without locking myself into one format. Might be the nudge you need if you’ve been overthinking your next move.
