Keeping up with social media is wild right now

Keeping up with social media platforms is wild right now.

Instagram's CEO is basically running a masterclass in his feed about how the platform works.

X (the social network formerly known as Twitter) is...being X.

Facebook and LinkedIn are competing for the most AI generated content.

Threads and Bluesky are lurking in the background.

TikTok is singing "Should I Stay Or Should I Go?"

YouTube remains the video giant that feels both essential and impossible to crack.

If you're feeling invisible despite trying to be everywhere...here's permission to let it go.

I see you pouring hours into multiple platforms, wondering why the algorithms seem to work for everyone except you.

The secret isn't cracking every platform's code.

Pick the one platform where your ideal viewers actually hang out.

Show up there consistently. Build something real.

Let's be real, the better you can take care of yourself (i.e. not overextending), the better you’ll be able to show up for others.

PS: With the help of AI and some discipline, I've lost 43 pounds since May 1st, 2024. I documented how I did it on my latest podcast episode here.
